MATTEL'S DC UNIVERSE CLASSIC FAN POLL

Rock the vote! Exercise your rights to vote early with Mattel's first DC Universe Classic Fan Poll!

MATTEL'S DC UNIVERSE CLASSIC FAN POLLMattel's no stranger to fan-oriented toy lines. The toy company continues to produce the Justice League Unlimited line well after cancellation of the animated series, and even has plans to launch a Masters of the Universe Classics line later this year. But their desire to give fans what they want doesn't stop there.

Now, Mattel wants your help in choosing which figures you'll see in a future wave of the DC Universe Classics line. The field has been narrowed to the following six figures, so check out the ballots, then check out the ballot below to vote and have your voice heard.

STARMAN
Jack Knight starred in James Robinson's cult classic Starman series from 1994-1999. He and his cosmic rod haven't been seen much since, but Robinson infused Jack with such history, adventure and character that he still resonates with fans today. DC Direct did a figure of him in their early days, but Star-fans would surely snatch up DC's most unlikely legacy hero in Mattel's Classics style.

CATMAN
Once considered a lame Bat-clone, Catman rose through the ranks of cool—first in Green Arrow as a chubby loser, and then in the Infinite Crisis tie-in Villains United. Now a member of the Secret Six, Catman proves he's not just a Batman rip-off by kicking ass, sleeping around and befriending psychos like Deadshot. So, let's celebrate his new found cool-ness with the best reward of all: an action figure!

RAGMAN
No, he's not the living embodiment of every bum you've ever passed on the streets. Ragman wears a suit of, um, rags—each of which is actually the soul of a bad guy he's punished. He rose to prominence in another Infinite Crisis tie-in, Day of Vengeance, in which he and fellow mystical heroes formed the Shadowpact to fight Eclipso and a love-sick Spectre. Fans of dark, mysterious heroes and patchwork quilts will fawn over this figure.

VIXEN
This model-turned-superheroine originally absorbed the abilities of animals using her Tantu Totem; but due to recent events in Justice League of America, she can now tap into the powers of her fellow superhumans. With all those play possibilities (along with potential supermodel-level costume variants), Vixen makes this a tough race indeed. Plus, a vote for Vixen counts as one step closer to completing the current JLA line-up on your homemade JLA Satellite HQ.

THE QUESTION
This world-renowned conspiracy nut, who was both revived and killed in last year's 52, has been around since 1967 when comic legend Steve Ditko created him for the now-defunct Charlton Comics. Again, DC Direct created a figure of him back in the day, but our favorite faceless detective deserves a plastic reinterpretation. Let's hope this could open the door for other Charlton-turned-DC characters like Blue Beetle and Judomaster to go along with the upcoming Captain Atom figure.

HUNTRESS
Most of the Bat-family is already in the DCUC line, so Gothamite and Bird of Prey Helena Bertinelli seems like a no-brainer. She's been hanging out in the superhero boys' club for years—even joining the JLA twice. Plus, she could be the next female figure in a line that's already produced fantastic renditions of ladies like Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn. Also, think of the variant possibilities! Huntress has sported a number of different costumes, including this one designed by Jim Lee.

Voting for this poll closed at 11:00 a.m. on August 28, 2008.
