[MEN IN TIGHTS] 'THE FLASH' #246 ROUNDUPThe Flash
Wally West has been a super-hero for nearly his entire life. After an accident granted him the power of super speed, he became sidekick to his uncle Barry Allen as Kid Flash, and even joined the Teen Titans. Upon his mentor's death, Wally donned the Crimson Cowl to honor his idol, and became a well respected hero himself, even becoming a member of the Justice League. But nothing could have prepared Wally and his wife Linda Park-West for what happened next: parenthood. The twins Iris and Jai have inherited various powers and also exhibit accelerated aging, proving to be quite the handful. And so Wally and Linda are already training them as the next generation of super-heroes. It's quite a life for The Flash, the fastest man alive!

Previously in The Flash:

The Flash journeyed into the Speed Force, the source of his power, in order to halt the advanced aging of Jai and Iris. But it seems to have had an adverse effect on Wally himself. While fighting a bee-like enemy, his powers seemed to have regressed to where they were when he was a teenager. Tests reveal that Wally's speed tops out at the speed of sound. After another attack on the West house orchestrated by Queen Bee and her henchman Carapace, Linda is seriously injured...

In this issue:
• The Flash takes Jai and Iris to Justice League headquarters, where they're met by Red Arrow and his daughter Lian. While the children watch movies, Wally holds vigil over a comatose Linda, who is being cared for by the super-hero physician Dr. Mid-Nite.

• Wally reminisces about the first time he and Linda met, and his subsequent pursuit for her affections. Once they started dating, not even the occasionally super-villain attack could keep them apart. Even the evil mystic Abra Kadabra wiping the world's memories of Linda on their wedding day couldn't sever the bond between Wally and his love.

• The twins join Wally in his vigil, and as they sleep he thinks back again, to the time Zoom cost them the twins while Linda was still pregnant, and Wally's plea to the nearly all-powerful Spectre to erase his secret identity from everyone's memory. The act affected everyone, even Wally and Linda themselves, until Batman figured out what had happened.

• The Dark Knight himself arrives at Linda's bedside, needing Wally to gather information on the device stolen by Queen Bee, The Flash's attempted prevention of which lead to Linda's current state. Wally discovers that the device is actually a gateway into the Speed Force itself, and is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.

• Wally receives word that Linda has taken a turn for the worse, and rushes to her side. She's dying, and Mid-Nite might not be able to save her. Desperate, Wally speeds to see his Titans teammate Raven, hoping for a miracle.

• Elsewhere, Roy has taken the kids to the park, where a suddenly healthy Linda appears and starts to leave with the twins. Red Arrow realizes something's wrong, and "Linda" is revealed to be Zazzala, Queen Bee herself. Before he can stop her, she teleports away with the twins.

• The Flash begs Raven to contact the Spectre, hoping the ghostly being can save her again. She finally agrees, sending Wally alone to see him. But this isn't the same Hal Jordan Spectre that helped him before. The Spectre's new human host is former Gotham City Police Detective Crispus Allen, and he says that today, Linda must die...

The Flash moving too fast? Perish the thought.

Arrow Sense tingling!

C'mon Roy, you used to be called Speedy! You can think faster than that.

Boo!

The Spectre isn't much fun at parties.
