'THE GRAYSONS' NO MORE!

The new CW drama based on DC Comics' Boy Wonder gets the ax

'THE GRAYSONS' NO MORE!
Bad news for Dick Grayson fans—Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to yank the announced CW drama about the Boy Wonder, entitled "The Graysons," from development.

This will no doubt leave a superhero shaped void in the CW's programming line-up as their hit show "Smallville" will be off the air after the current season.

According to Warner Bros., the concept of "The Graysons"—a pre-costumed, and potentially trapeze-based Dick Grayson—did not fit with the direction of the Batman franchise and they are currently working on a replacement for the CW.

"The Graysons" would have been the fourth CW show based on DC continuity, following the failed "Aquaman" pilot, the short-lived "Birds of Prey," and the ongoing "Smallville."
