DANIEL CRAIG DECLINES ROLE OF 'THOR'
While at a press conference in Beverly Hills for the new Bond film "Quantum of Solace," IESB asked Daniel Craig how he felt about being a God.

The "Thor" movie, currently scheduled for a 2010 release with Kenneth Branagh set to direct, is looking for a lead. According to what Craig told IESB, Marvel approached the Bond star to gauge his interest in portraying the Norse deity and Avenger.

Craig said that Marvel did approach him, but he turned down the role, adding, "It would have been too much of a power trip, both Bond and Thor, and running around with long hair and a hammer."

Good point, Daniel. Also, you two don't look much alike.
