EVA LONGORIA TO PLAY WASP IN 'AVENGERS' MOVIE? | | Actress spotted emerging from Marvel Studios with Avengers books in hand
| | | By Rachel Molino | | Posted 9/16/2008 | |  | |  According to Latino Review, Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives") was spotted walking out of Marvel Studios with a bundle of Avengers comic books in hand, sparking rumors that she may be playing the Wasp in an upcoming Avengers flick.
The assumption would make sense, considering the actress' tiny frame and Janet Van Dyne-like looks. While Wasp has rarely been labeled any fan's favorite Avenger, the character has always been part of the original Super Group.
