The Wizard Price Guide takes readers behind the scenes to let them know what comics they should be paying attention to and what books are moving in stores around the world.

MARKET WATCH: COMICS

THOR
Back issues of Thor Volume Three—the current series—have been enjoying a healthy trading life on the back market. First prints of issue #1 usually hit upwards of $8 and subsequent issues waver around $4 to $5. Watch for the first hardcover collection to hit this week and the possible bottoming out of back issue prices.

DCU ZERO
Countdown is over and it's time for a crisis of final proportions. But before you dive into that, make sure you don't miss DC Universe #0. If you can remember back that far, you'll recall the Countdown to Infinite Crisis—which similarly spring boarded events that led into the main title and bled out into the rest of the DCU—became scarce right at the beginning of Infinite Crisis.

TEAM OF ACTION
Geoff Johns and Gary Frank are definitely striking gold as the creative team on Action Comics, but the Man of Steel isn't their first collaboration. The duo first got together on Johns' run on Avengers for issues #61-62. You can pick up both issues at cover price.

SUPERNATURAL
Wildstorm's Supernatural: Origins miniseries, based on the CW television series of the same name is proving to be a must have for TV fans. "This is one of the few media tie-in titles that has maintained its fan base," says Mike Wellman of The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA. "Even Serenity took a major plunge with this last outing. I've had a few folks looking forward to Chuck too; Peter Johnson's other series."

BEST BETS
DC Universe Zero #1 (DC, $0.50): It all starts here! DC's next big shakeup is upon us and this one-shot by Morrison, Johns, Perez and others will be setting the stage for the rest of the year. Don't miss it!

Avengers: The Initiative #12 (Marvel, $2.99): The past eleven issues have all lead up to this issue...well, duh! Big things are promised for the heroes-in-waiting in this ish!

New Avengers #40 (Marvel, $2.99): This Secret Invasion tie-in is sure to be a scarce find a few months down the road.
