Cassie Hack is officially on suicide watch.

According to a press release, Devil's Due will be releasing a new Hack/Slash web comic that features protagonist Cassie Hack turning to the internet to draw out an online psychopath. The comic will be featured at SuicideGirls.com, where users will be able to friend and message Cassie.

Chicago, IL. (April 20, 2008) – Cassie Hack has bashed and stabbed her way through more than one serial killer in Hack/Slash, but this week the slasher slayer will start using SuicideGirls.com to attract her next victim. Through a partnership between Suicide Girls and Devil's Due Publishing, Cassie's latest Hack/Slash adventure will appear as a brand new webcomic, available exclusively through SuicideGirls.com before being collected in the first ever Hack/Slash Annual this July.

In a story written and drawn by Hack/Slash creator Tim Seeley, Cassie's quest to catch a new killer leads her to the Web, where she becomes a Suicide Girl and shoots her own photo set to nab a psychotic slasher hunting down real Suicide Girls. The first installment of the webcomic launches on April 20 from Cassie's Suicide Girls profile.

"People are always describing Cassie as the Suicide Girl type, and now I can definitely answer yes," said Seeley. "I have had an account for five years now, and Hack/Slash is a perfect fit for Suicide Girls, because people are also always asking me if they can see her naked."

Cassie's profile is accessible at http://suicidegirls.com/members/Cassie/.

Along with Cassie's own photoset and blog, her profile will be updated every weekday with a new installment of the Hack/Slash webcomic, titled "Murder/Suicide." Readers can also friend and message Cassie through her account.
