Get ready for the largest multi-genre convention in South Florida History as Florida Supercon moves to its new "super-sized" location, The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort in Weston, FL.
Florida Supercon is a convention for comic book, anime, animation, sci-fi, fantasy and manga fans taking place May 23 - 25, 2008 at The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort in Weston, FL (just outside of Miami & Fort Lauderdale). The show will include celebrity guests, artists, writers, vendors, industry guests, Q&As, parties, costume contests, anime programming, manga, cosplay, workshops, panels, cosplay photo shoots and more! The current guest list for FSC includes:
* James and Oliver Phelps: Harry Potter superstars! James and Oliver are best known for their roles as Fred and George Weasley.
* Stanislav Ianevski: Harry Potter superstar! Stanislav is best known for his role as Viktor Krum. As well, he was one of the stars of Hostel 2.
* Plus: A 4th mystery Harry Potter superstar to be named soon! Keep your eyes on our website for the exciting announcement.
* Grey Delisle: Superstar Voice Actress. Grey is well known for her work in Avatar: The Last Airbender (Princess Azula), The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Mandy), Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (Yumi), Scooby Doo (Daphne), Star Wars: Clone Wars (Padme Amidala), Ultimate Avengers (The Wasp) and The Fantastic Four (Invisible Woman).
* Larry Kenney: Larry is known the world over as the voice of Lion-O in The Thundercats. As well, Larry's other well known roles include: Count Chocula, Bluegrass in Silverhawks, Jackalman in The Thundercats, Sonny The Coco Bird for Coco Puffs and Dolph in Tiger Sharks.
* Samantha Newark: Samantha is Jem from Jem and the Holograms! SAM, as her diehard fans, friends and family know her best is also an accomplished musician, whose original music and stellar vocals can currently be heard on such hit TV shows as the CW's "Gossip Girl" and "Life Is Wild" also MTV’s “Laguna Beach” “Punked” and “My Super Sweet Sixteen”. She has also sung on the much anticipated James Bond video game and has lent haunting vocals to Sony’s huge hits “God of War” “Twisted Metal Black” & “Wild Arm’s 3” Plus: Sam has also worked on The Transformers (the voice of Ariel) and Project A-KO. Sam will be one of the headliners for the FSC Saturday night Concert.
* Carmine Infantino: Comic Book Legend. Former President and Publisher of DC Comics. Creator of the silver age Flash. Legendary artist of Batman, The Flash, Superman, Star Wars and more!
* Dan Slott: Superstar Comic Book writer. Dan's credits include She Hulk, Avengers: The Initiative, Ren & Stimpy, and is the new writer of The Amazing Spider-Man.
* Kyle Baker: Superstar Cartoonist. Credits include: Plastic Man, Why I Hate Saturn, You Are Here, Truth and King David.
* Richard Epcar: Superstar Voice Actor. Ghost in the Shell (Batou), Robotech (Ben Dixon, Lunk), Transformers: Robots in Disguise (Armorhide), Bleach (Zangetsu, Mr. Kagine), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and more!
* Dick Giordano: Comic Book Legend and Superstar. DC Comics, Charlton Comics, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl.
* Ellyn Stern: Superstar Voice Actress. Star of Bleach (Masaki Kurosaki), Ghost in the Shell (Haraway), Armitage III.
* Alex Saviuk: Comic Book Legend and Superstar. Web of Spider-Man, X-Files, Action Comics, Superman, Amazing Spider-Man.
* Peelander-Z: Superstar Japanese Action Comic Punk Band.
* Derec Donovan: Superstar Comic Book Artist. Derec is the current artist on the newly relaunched Youngblood. His past credits include: Rogue, Connor Hawke, Adventures of Superman, Action Comics, Avengers, Bug, Generation X, Green Lantern, Thor, Quicksilver and Supergirl.
* Mark Sparacio: Superstar Artist. Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, Jonah Hex, Liberty Girl.
* Sophie Mcnutt: Industry Guest. Funimation's Operation Anime Co-coordinator.
* Allen Bellman: Golden Age Comic Book Legend. Captain America, The Patriot, Let's Play Detective, Human Torch, Sub-Mariner.
* Yaya Han: Superstar Cosplay Guest. Yaya has been a cosplay artist for over 7 years and is both nationally and internationally recognized for her craftsmanship in cosplay costumes. The new location for FSC is The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort, 250 Racquet Club Road, Weston, FL 33326. The Bonaventure has over 60,000 square feet of total convention space and is three times the size of Florida Supercon's last location. Information on the resort can be found here.

$20 if reserved between Jan. 23 and March 23, 2008
$25 if reserved between March 23 and April 23, 2008
$30 if reserved between April 23 and May 22, 2008
General Admission at the door is $20 for a one day pass or $30 for the (3) day weekend.
