Set your phasers to love before checking out the 25 hottest women to ever grace our favorite shows
By Jake Rossen and the Wizard Staff
Posted 2/18/08
Whether it was Wonder Woman roping your heart with her magic lasso, Buffy slaying any doubt that a girl who’s hot can also kick ass or Veronica Mars proving geeky girls do it better—there’s no denying that the hottest women in TV history come from the shows Wizard readers love. From the women of “Star Trek” in their miniskirts to Kate’s tight, sweaty wife-beater on “Lost,” these are the girls that set your pulse pounding, make your mouth go dry and give every guy with a television a reason to stay home and on the couch. These ladies do it all—kick immortal ass, investigate the unknown and even save the universe now and then. Here’s the rundown of the 25 hottest women to ever turn on our TVS.

25. Laura Vandervoort
(“Smallville”)

Just one complaint: Why did it take “Smallville” seven years to enlist Supergirl into continuity? (Reasonable answer: Blonde bombshell Vandervoort was only 16 when the series started.) It was worth the wait. As Kryptonian survivor Kara Kent, she makes us believe a woman can not only fly, but disturb not even a single hair in the process.
24. Yvonne Strahovski
(“Chuck”)

We’re suckers for nerd herders, and Aussie newcomer Strahovski fits the bill perfectly as hapless Chuck’s CIA chaperone Sarah Walker, pulling him out of danger and sighing in exasperation at his geek compulsions. She’s one-stop shopping when you need a hot, grumpy blonde willing to wear a Princess Leia slave outfit.
23. Gillian Anderson
“The X-Files”)

Forget Archie: America’s premier effeminate redhead remains Anderson, who had us believing in aliens for nine seasons on “The X-Files.” The pragmatist to David Duchovny’s believer, her FBI Agent Dana Scully managed to intrigue despite a business suit, sensible heels and carrying Mulder’s baby.
22. Sherilyn Fenn
(“Twin Peaks”)

Want to know the secret to puzzled viewers tuning into David Lynch’s fever dream every week? Hint: It ain’t the Log Lady. Fenn vamped it up as town hoochie Audrey Horne, using fluttering eyelashes and tight skirts to get her way. We don’t normally enjoy being shamelessly manipulated, but we’ll make an exception here.
21. Anna Friel
(“Pushing Daisies”)

Button-cute Brit Friel has the dubious honor of being the most tragically desired female on television; as the resurrected boyhood crush of life-giving Ned on ABC’s “Daisies,” he can’t touch her without sending her back into the grave. What would Wizard do? We’re not proud to admit it, but Friel would be eating dirt within the day.
