It's hip to be square at Square Enix

Final Fantasy and Disney-philes take note, Square Enix will have something you’ll need to buy in 2008.

In April, Enix is releaseing a “Kingdom Hearts” Play Arts Arms set that will offer a series of weapons that fit perfectly with existing “Kingdom Hearts” figures. They’re also releasing “Final Fantasy” Trading Arts minis Series 2 that same month.

May sees the release of a “Final Fantasy VII” Advent Children Sephiroth 1:4 scale figure. The summer months of June and July will present plenty of “Final Fantasy VII” Play Arts Series 2 figures for fans to pick up with the release of Vincent Valentine, Sephiroth, Yuffie Kisaragi and Red XIII and Cait Sith.

Also planned for the summer is a Valkyrie Profile Sculpture Arts Lenneth Polistone statue that looks absolutely stunning.

In October, celebrate Halloween with some pretty scary “Final Fantasy” Master Creatures like Phoenix, Gilgamesh and Siva.

Finally, in December, give the gift of Disney with the “Kingdom Hearts” Formations Arts Volume 3 Sora, Minnie and Jack Sparrow offerings.

We also got a chance to see a “Kingdom Heart”s Sora prototype that promises to thrill gaming fans, and on the cute side, SE will be offering a “Final Fantasy” series Uki Uki Chocobo rubber ducky some time in 2008.
