[WWLA UPDATE] NEW WIZARD WORLD EXCLUSIVE TOURING TOY | | Kridana captures the ‘Ramayana’ in plastic, offers Ivory Rama at WWLA | | | By Zach Oat | | Posted 2/14/2008 | |  | | Finally, the great Indian epics have come to the world of action figures! New company Kridana (Sanskrit for “plaything”) is making the heroes of the Ramayana, Lord Rama and Shri Hanuman, and they’ve created an exclusive “Ivory” Rama that will only be available at Wizard World Conventions, starting with Wizard World Los Angeles (March 14-16) and continuing to Wizard Worlds Philadelphia and Chicago! It comes with a bow and arrow, Shiva’s bow and an issue of his comic book, with a cover by Michael Turner.
L.A. will also see the debut of Kridana’s next figure, the demon-king Ravana, and they’re going to let you vote on which paint scheme you like best!
Fun Fact: The figures were sculpted by Matthew Flesher and painted by Eddie Wires—the team behind Palisades’ awesome Muppets action figures! To see more of their releases, visit kridana.com!
